Today I visited my Alma Mater, UC Santa Cruz! Home of the Banana Slugs! Check out the awesome redwoods up near the bookstore. This was an amazing place to go to school for anyone who has never seen the campus, it is up on a hill in a redwood forest overlooking the ocean!We got some loot at the Bay Tree Bookstore before heading down towards the beach.
It was a perfect day to be in Santa Cruz, it must have been in the 80's, not too hot but yet nice and warm!
Of course we had to go to the famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk! Who could resist carnival food and rides?
I went on the Merry-Go-Round....
And the Ferris Wheel.....
And the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster (Built in 1924!)
And I played the squirt gun game, and of course won!
